Pen and Ink Study for 'The All-Pervading': a draped, veiled figure, seated, facing forwards. Globe held in lap. Winged, the wings forming a mandorla around the body. The globe is held higher in the 1904 Watts Chapel painting. The drapery is more complex in the Tate Gallery painting finished 1890. Study of the seated draped figure in the allegorical (symbolist) subject picture.
